SWA- NY Manager and Head Wrestling Coach
A visionary leader in the wrestling community, Justin Accordino is the manager and head wrestling coach at Savage Wrestling Academy. With a storied career and dedication to the sport, Justin brings a wealth of experience and passion to his coaching role.
High School Career: Justin's wrestling journey began at Coughlin High School, where he achieved remarkable success as a high school national champion with an impressive record of 150-11. He was also a 2x PIAA All-State, 2x NHSCA All-American, and a 6-time Fargo All-American.
College Career: Continuing his wrestling career at Hofstra University, Justin was a 4x Team Captain, 2x All-Conference, and 2x NCAA Qualifier, ultimately earning NCAA All-American honors (6th place).
Coaching Achievements: Since transitioning to coaching, Justin has made significant contributions to the sport. He has been a vital part of the New York National Team since 2021 and previously led the Junior and U16 Pennsylvania National Team in 2017. At Ascend Wrestling Club and Chaminade High School, Justin played a key role as Assistant Coach, helping the team secure League and State Championships.
Certifications and Personal Life: Justin holds a USA Wrestling Bronze Certification, demonstrating his commitment to professional development and coaching excellence. Outside of wrestling, Justin is an art teacher at Chaminade High School, where he fosters creativity and artistic expression. His multifaceted expertise and commitment to mentorship make him a guiding force at Savage Wrestling Academy, shaping the future of wrestling both on and off the mat.

Assistant Coach- Middle & High School Advanced
Jonathan Loew brings elite competitive experience and a passion for athlete development to Savage Wrestling Academy. A Long Island native, he was a New York State Champion and NHSCA Senior National Champion at Wantagh High School, finishing his senior season 53–1 at 195 lbs and earning over 200 career wins.
Jonathan continued his career at Cornell University, where he became an NCAA All-American, EIWA Champion, and multiple-time NCAA Qualifier at 184 lbs. He posted a 30-win season, earned First-Team All-Ivy League honors, and recorded numerous wins over nationally ranked opponents. Despite injuries during his final season, he served as a student assistant coach, gaining valuable Division I coaching experience.
As a coach, Jonathan is known for his technical precision, competitive mindset, and ability to connect with wrestlers of all levels. His championship background and leadership make him a valuable part of the Savage Wrestling Academy coaching staff.

Assistant Coach - Middle and High School Advanced
Joe Calderone is the esteemed Assistant Coach for our Middle School and High School Advanced programs at Savage Wrestling Academy. His collegiate wrestling career at Long Island Post is marked by being a three-time Division 3 All-American.
Early Career and Education: In high school, Joe was a two-time New York State place finisher and an NHSCA National finalist, showcasing his prowess on the mat early in his career. His rich background contributes to the diverse style of fundamental techniques and ideal coaching philosophy he brings to our programs.
Coaching Approach: Joe holds a USA Wrestling Bronze Certification, demonstrating his commitment to professional development and coaching excellence. With Joe's guidance, our middle school and high school advanced wrestlers receive unparalleled expertise and mentorship, fostering skill development and a commitment to excellence. Joe Calderone's experience and dedication make him an invaluable part of our coaching team.

Head Coach - Middle & High School Fundamentals
A standout from Islip High School, Ryan’s career is marked by national success and a deep commitment to developing student-athletes.
Early Career and Education:
During his time at Islip, Ryan compiled a remarkable 215–12 record, becoming a 2-time New York State Champion, 3-time National Finalist, and 5-time High School All-American. He continued his wrestling career at Hofstra University, where he was a 2-time NCAA Qualifier, ranked in the Top 15 nationally, and earned recognition after defeating the #1 ranked wrestler at the NCAA Championships.
Coaching Achievements:
Ryan is a USA Wrestling Bronze-Level Certified Coach and brings a wealth of experience from both competitive and coaching arenas. Known for his technical precision, leadership, and intensity, he has coached youth through collegiate-level wrestlers and helped MMA fighters develop their takedown game. Coach Patrovich’s deep knowledge of the sport, passion for mentorship, and championship pedigree make him a vital force in guiding the next generation of wrestlers at Savage Wrestling Academy.

Assistant Coach – Middle & High School Fundamentals
Justin Crawford brings a championship pedigree and high-level collegiate experience to the Savage Wrestling Academy Middle & High School Fundamentals Program.
Early Career and Education:
Justin was a 2-time CHSAA Champion and 3-time CHSAA Finalist, earning over 100 career wins at the high school level. He continued his wrestling career at Notre Dame College, competing on teams that reached the National Duals Finals and finished Top 3 at the NCAA Championships. Justin later graduated from Belmont Abbey College.
Coaching & Certifications:
Justin is a USA Wrestling Bronze-Level Certified Coach and is CPR and First Aid certified. He emphasizes strong fundamentals, discipline, and competitive mindset development, helping wrestlers build a solid foundation for long-term success.

Head Coach - Elementary
A former wrestler from Locust Valley High School, Bailey brings strong leadership and a fundamentals-first philosophy to the Savage Wrestling Academy Elementary Program.
Early Career and Education:
Bailey wrestled at Locust Valley High School and continued her wrestling career at Johnson & Wales University, where she further developed her technical foundation and understanding of athlete development.
Coaching & Certifications:
Bailey is a USA Wrestling Bronze-Level Certified Coach and is CPR and First Aid certified. As Head Elementary Coach, she leads the program with a focus on basic technique, coordination, confidence, and creating a positive and safe introduction to wrestling for young athletes.

Assistant Coach - Elementary Coach
A Chaminade High School alum, Charlie brings a disciplined and steady coaching presence to the Savage Wrestling Academy Elementary Program.
Early Career and Education:
Charlie wrestled at Chaminade High School before competing collegiately at University of Scranton.
Coaching & Certifications:
Charlie is a USA Wrestling Bronze-Level Certified Coach and is CPR and First Aid certified. He emphasizes effort, consistency, and proper fundamentals while helping young wrestlers build confidence and strong habits on the mat.

Assistant Coach - Elementary
Elvis brings energy, structure, and enthusiasm to the Savage Wrestling Academy Elementary Program.
Early Career and Education:
Elvis wrestled at Walt Whitman High School and continued his career at SUNY Brockport.
Coaching & Certifications:
Elvis is a USA Wrestling Bronze-Level Certified Coach and is CPR and First Aid certified. He focuses on teaching core skills, movement, and mat awareness while creating a supportive and safe environment for young athletes..
